As the world is shaken by the haunting image of the lifeless Syrian toddler Aylan Kurdi, an ABC News reporter Muhammad Lila posted a happier picture of the toddler on the micro-blogging site Twitter on Saturday.
Muhammad Lila, an international correspondent posted the picture saying that Aylan's aunt would want the world to remember him as a smiling child and not according to the pictures that are circulating.
On Wednesday, the Turkish police had found several bodies of Syrian refugees on the beach, among them was three-year-old Aylan Kurdi who was found face down. While social media has been grieving the toddler's death, Muhammad Lila chose to show a different side of the boy by posting a happy picture of his. He also realised that the clothes Aylan was seen wearing when he drowned were similar to the ones in the picture that he had posted.
