The pilot of an aircraft that was circling the skies over northern Mississippi and had threatened to crash it into the earth has landed safely, according to authorities. The problem has been addressed and no one was wounded, Governor Tate Reeves tweeted.
Governor Tate Reeves expressed his gratitude to the law enforcement forces that assisted in bringing down the plane. Above the course of more than four hours, the aircraft flew in a circular pattern over Tupelo, Mississippi, beginning at about 5 a.m.
The officials had previously said that the plane, a Beechcraft King Air C90A, had been stolen from a nearby airfield. Many other government agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, were working together to determine what had transpired.
As previously reported by Dailymail, the pilot has been in communication with the Tupelo Police Department and has threatened to deliberately crash the Aircraft. Later the agency also reported that he plane was down in Ashland, a sparsely populated area of Mississippi, and that the pilot was still alive.
