A principal of a computer training institute in Pakistan's Punjab province shot dead a female student after she resisted his attempt to sexually assault her, police said.

A principal of a computer training institute in Pakistan's Punjab province shot dead a female student after she resisted his attempt to sexually assault her, police said.

The body of the 22-year-old student was found in an under-construction house in Taxila city.

The institute's principal has been arrested, the daily Dawn reported Tuesday.

A police officer said the accused had tried to assault the student and on resistance he shot her on the head.
