Union human and resource development minister Kapil Sibal is slated to meet top officials of the Obama Administration later this week as part of the endeavour of the two countries to forge greater collaboration in the field of education.

In New York yesterday, Sibal held meetings with top officials of the three best universities - Howard, Yale and Massachusetts Institute of Technology -- and discussed about the prospects of partnership and collaboration with the elite Indian institutions.
Sibal would travel to Washington tomorrow. During his stay he would meet officials of Department of State and Department of Education; besides presidents of several universities. He is also scheduled to hold meeting with academicians of Indian origin.
