Six suspected militants were killed when US drones targeted their vehicles in the restive North Waziristan tribal region of Pakistan today, hours after another group of rebels escaped unharmed during a missile strike by an unmanned spy plane.
The drones fired four missiles at two vehicles at Eissa village near Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan Agency, this evening.
Both vehicles were destroyed, officials said.
Earlier in the day, drones fired four missiles at a vehicle in Azam Warsak village of South Waziristan Agency.
Six suspected foreign militants, who were in the vehicle, escaped unhurt.
The vehicle was destroyed, officials said.
