A Delta Airline plane was struck by lightning at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the US last week. The airfield was crowded with aircrafts, all waiting to take off, on that very rainy day.
The incident was captured on video and was posted on YouTube by Jack Perkins. "While filming the line of planes all stacked up during a ground hold in Atlanta on 8/18/15 I happened to capture this direct lightning strike on a 737," Perkins wrote posted below the video.
The video has gone viral with 5,184,923 views.
