Negative news has impacted us in the past few weeks, but in the labyrinth of sadness comes some news that can restore our faith in humanity. The stories come from various corners of the world and this particular story came from the United States in the midst of Hurricane Irma approaching the Florida coast.
The video that has gone viral shows the woman finding empty isles after she came to buy oxygen for her father.
According to WFTV-TV, she had driven 30 miles (nearly 60 km) to a Lowe’s in Orlando after learning they’d received a shipment of a little over 200 generators, but on arriving they had sold out.
She then broke down in front of a man after she told him her father needed the generator. The stranger then insisted she take the last one.
“I’m very overwhelmed by that man,” Brekke told the network. “That gentleman was a great gentleman right there. God will bless that man.”
Fox News journalist Ryan Fournier shared the story on his Twitter timeline, which has since gone viral. A few people also debated at the idea of news sources that only share positive news.
