Barack Obama and Bear Grylls clicked a few selfies while shooting for 'Running Wild with Bear Grylls'

Everyone did a double take when survival show host Bear Grylls announced that the President of the United States Barack Obama will be starring in the next episode of his show Running Wild with Bear Grylls.

Barack Obama took a three day trip to Alaska to see how will he survive Alaskan wilderness without the help of secret services and left to his own devices. The president also checked out the impact of climate change on the snowy state, reports Entertainment Weekly.

No adventure is complete without taking a few selfies. POTUS is not immune to a little vanity.

While shooting for their adventure, Barack Obama took a selfie with the host Bear Grylls and made a rookie mistake of letting one of his fingers cover the lens of the camera.

Glad this was the only Bear I met in the park. -bo

After taking a look at the end result, we think, Bear Grylls showed Obama the right way to take one.

@POTUS such special moments all through this journey. & what you are doing to help protect our planet is inspiring.

Obama has now joined the likes of Kate Winslet, Zac Efron, and Channing Tatum who were also the featured guests on Running Wild with Bear Grylls.
