Hasin Jahan said that she had all the evidence against Mohammed Shami and will soon drag him to court.
Indian pacer Mohammed Shami's wife Hasin Jahan has accused him of cheating and having multiple extra-marital affairs. She had also accused the cricketer and his family of mentally and physically torturing her for more than two years.
However, she had said that she was not going to divorce him till her last breath. She said that she had all the evidence against him and will soon drag him to court.
"I've done everything he wanted me to do. He has tortured me and hasn't treated me like his wife. He's a big flirt. I'm not going to divorce him till my last breath. I've all the evidence & will soon drag him to the court," Hasin Jahan told ANI in Kolkata on Tuesday.
Shami has responded to allegations saying all these are lies. He said that it was a very big conspiracy against him. It was an attempt to defame him and hurt his game.
Earlier, Jahan, shared a series of photos and screenshots of the fast bowler's alleged extramarital affair on her Facebook wall. The images include Shami posing with women and his reported chats with them.
“Whatever I have posted is just the tip of the iceberg. Shami’s acts are far more heinous. He has relationships with multiple women,” Jahan told the channel.
Jahan alleges that the phone was gifted to him by Delhi Daredevils in 2014. She reportedly found the phone, along with male contraceptives, in Shami's BMW car. She tried a few different combination to open the lock and got access to the alleged chats when one pattern matched.
She has also alleged that Mohammed Shami and his family members have been physically and mentally torturing for more than two years.
“Everyone in their family used to torture me. His mother and brother used to abuse me. The tortures continued till 2-3 am in the morning. They even wanted to kill me," alleges Jahan.
“Shami abused me and started beating me even after returning from South Africa. He has been doing this for quite some time now and now I have had enough.”
“I tried to convince myself for the sake of my family and daughter but he kept on harassing me and when I found those obscene chats with multiple women, all hell broke. I cannot tolerate this anymore and I have decided to take legal actions with all the available evidence,” Jahan added.
Jahan revealed that when she came back to Kolkata on January 8, she verbally informed the Jadavpur police about the situation.
Mohammed Shami is currently playing Deodhar Trophy as a member of India A squad. He has always fought the trolls when they slammed the way she dressed. This is why revelation by Hasin Jahan come across as shocking.
