2. Krishi Darshan was inaugurated by Indira Gandhi

Krishi Darshan was inauguarated by the then PM Indira Gandhi, also the first and only female Prime Minister of India till date. The show's first episode was telecast on January 26, 1967, on the occasion of Republic Day in twentieth year of Indian independence.
