As thousands of people thronged Ramlila maidan to support Anna Hazare's crusade against corruption, it is brisk business for many selling Gandhi cap, the National Tricolour as well as photo of the Gandhian.

Young children who said they begged to earn a living till some days back are now having a field day at what they called "a 15-day mela".

Badges, flags, hand bands, hair bands and Gandhi caps sporting the Tricolour and depicting Hazare's pictures are selling like hot cakes as support swells for the campaign.

"We are selling these items for last two days. Thanks to Anna Hazare, we are making a living," said a hawker selling Gandhi cap and flags.

Children selling the items said they understood little about the issue being taken up by Hazare but they are happy at the congregation.

"It is a mela (fair) for us. We are bring the stuff from Sadar area at a lower price and earn a profit over it," said a child hawker.

As Hazare's fast entered sixth day today, more and more people have thronged the Ramlila Maidan and children are hopeful of making more money by selling the items.

"We are hopeful of selling more," said a child stationed outside the New Delhi Metro station, which is just few hundred metres from the Ramlila Maidan.
