Two more kids have vanished from the city, leaving their parents and police worried. Parthik Patel and Rohan Patel, both 14 and studying in the same school, left their home on Wednesday but have not returned home yet.

Parthik and Rohan study in Class 9 at Mangaldeep School of Nava Vadaj area. In his application to Naranpura police, Parthik's father Mukesh Patel, a resident of Ganeshkunj in New Ranip, said that Parthik had gone somewhere with his friend after attending school on Wednesday morning. According to Patel, his son went somewhere during recess at 9 am and he was in his uniform. He had not returned home till Friday. But Patel was not sure about with whom Parthik went.

However, this mystery was solved when one Anil Patel approached Ranip police to report the missing of his 14-year-old son Rohan, who had also not returned home since Wednesday. According to Anil Patel, a resident New Ranip, his son Rohan came back to their home at 9:00 am from school and then left with another boy. Ranip police believe that it was Parthik who came straight from school at Rohan's house, and then went with Rohan, as both are friends and study in the same class at Mangaldeep School.

When Rohan came to his house to change clothes before leaving with Parthik, there was no one at his home, as Anil was out for work. His mother Manisha is currently in the UK and sister Chitra is studying in a college in Gandhinagar.

When Chitra came back home in the afternoon, her neighbour told her that Rohan came back from school at 9:00 am and went after changing clothes. The neighbour also told Chitra that he was accompanied by his friend.

During investigation, Naranpura police also learnt that Rohan had left his home four   months back with a classmate, Vilas. He, with the help of Vilas, sold his cycle at Kalupur railway station for Rs500 and went to Mumbai in train.

From the call details, both were found at Borivali, Mumbai. This time, Rohan went to his home at New Ranip, so his case is now referred to Ranip police and Naranpura police is looking after Parthik's case, as the school falls under their jurisdiction. "To find them, we have sent a team to Mumbai, as Rohan was found there earlier," said HB Jamod, PI, Naranpura.
