Two Samajwadi Party workers killed, 2 injured

Two Samajwadi Party workers were today killed and as many injured when the jeep in which they were travelling collided with a stationary truck, police said.

The deceased were identified as Jafar Mansori and Sher Ali, they said, adding the two injured were taken to district hospital, where their condition was stated to be serious.

The incident occurred on Sadar-Fatehpur bypass this morning when the SP workers were on their way to Firozabad to campaign for SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's daughter-in-law Dimple Yadav, who is contesting by-election for Firozabad
parliamentary constituency, they said.
