'The young Indians should join force to work towards cleaning the Indian society of corruption'

Macha was a guy who only shared happiness with us. Never once did he share his sorrows with us. It is rare to find such a spirited person. Even when he spoke to me on Nov 10, he never mentioned the kind of work he was doing or the kind of people he was dealing with. Guess that was his nature (never sharing his sorrows with others).

But I strongly feel we should not stop here. I guess we need to go beyond merely posting our comments on a blog. He died a true hero and we need to spread the message of sincerety, honesty and above all the responsibilty of one to one's nation - the real cause for which our dear friend Manju gave his life.

You were a brave man, working tirelessly to make our country a better place. You, like the soldiers of this land and others like Satyendra Dubey are martyrs for that cause. May Your Soul Rest In Peace.

Let us resolve not to remain calm till the murderers are convicted. If necessary we must put pressure on the administration for ensuring conviction. Someone will have to take the lead to track the investigation and spearhead a movement.

People like Satyendra Dubey and now Manjunath will be remembered as beacons of honesty and integrity in this thick fog of corruption that surrounds us all, but that is scant comfort for their families. I think all PSUs and Govt Depts. should evolve a policy of not posting young, honest, uncorrupted officers to Bihar. The system is beyond redemption, so why should these young lives be sacrificed? For me, fighting against corruption in the country is equivalent to fighting for Mother India. Young boys and girls of India (and that includes me too) should take this as inspiration and join the 'Indian force' and work towards cleaning the Indian society of corruption. Though such incidents may be held as reasons for the brain drain in our country, staying back and working in the Indian public service units with honesty and love for the country is the most effective measure to see a clean India. I will definitely work towards realising this dream. Let's do our best to downgrade corruption in whichever way are able to.
