Meeting for peace

A multi-faith public meeting is being organised by Sophia College Ex-Students’ Association (SCESA) for the unity of the human spirit. The programme is scheduled for December 5, from 11.15am to 12.15pm at the Sophia Bhabha Auditorium, Sophia College campus, Bhulabhai Desai Road, Mumbai.

Students and staff, not only from the Sophia Polytechnic, but also from the main
college will attend this function. This meeting will also be open to the public. The whole
purpose of this meeting is for everyone to come together. “It’s not just a healing service, but a memorial service as well,” says Sister Celia Remedios, directress of Sophia Polytechnic.

Shabana Azmi, Rahul Bose, and Adinath Mangeshkar will speak on the occasion. The programme will also include readings for peace, meditation for healing, and bhajans by Roopkumar and Sonali Rathod.
