A New York judge said Google must turn over the name of an anonymous blogger accused of defaming a supermodel.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Joan Madden found model Liskula Cohen has grounds to sue the blogger for defamation after she was depicted on a Blogger.com website with the words “ho,” “skank” and “whoring”.

Madden said Google, which owns and operates Blogger.com, must supply Cohen with the writer’s identity so she can pursue her defamation case.

“The thrust of the blog is that (Cohen) is a sexually promiscuous woman,” Madden said, and “as such, the cover girl is entitled to insist that Google reveal the blogger’s identity to her.” “I really hope it’s not somebody I know,” Cohen, 27, said. “When I saw that blog, it was awful.”
