ANALYSIS
This news has come from Uttar Pradesh, where about a thousand non-Muslims were converted and most of them are mute or deaf.
Uttar Pradesh Police has caught a gang that used to convert people of Hindu religion to Islam. these people especially targeted the mute, deaf, women and poor people and used to lure them with money, jobs and marriage. the biggest thing is that this gang used to operate from Jamia Nagar, Delhi, the capital of the country. This is the same Jamia Nagar, where terrorists were hiding after the 2008 bomb blasts and the famous Batla House encounter.
This news has come from Uttar Pradesh, where about a thousand non-Muslims were converted and most of them are mute or deaf.
An FIR was registered by Ghaziabad Police on 3rd June. It is written in this FIR that on June 2, two suspicious persons entered a temple in Ghaziabad and these people had surgical blades, religious books and some liquids in vials, which can also be poison. When these people were caught while entering the temple, they gave their names as Vipul Vijayvargiya and Kashi Gupta. But later it came to the fore that the person who is telling himself to be Kashi Gupta, his name is Kashif and the real name of Vipul Vijayvargiya is Ramzan. It is written in the FIR that these people had come to the temple to kill a Mahant.
This whole incident happened on 2nd June and the FIR happened on 3rd June. After the police started investigating this matter, it reached such people, who are converting non-Muslims to Islam for quite some time. The police said that these people did not do this with only one or two people, but they have converted about one thousand people till now.
One of the person's name is Jahangir and the other's name is Umar Gautam. And Umar Gautam is the same person who was a Hindu himself but later he also converted his religion and became a Muslim. According to the police, the duo was running a religious conversion racket in Uttar Pradesh with the help of some of their associates and all this was happening from Jamia Nagar, Delhi.
That is, the remote of this entire racket of religious conversion was in Jamia Nagar, where the Islamic Dawah Center has its office. This organization works to convert people to Islam. Imagine the offices of such institutions in the capital of the country, whose job is to convert people to religion.
These people used to contact mute, deaf, women, children and people from the weaker section. Then, these people were lured to convert to Islam. According to the police, these people forced many students into the residential school for the mute and deaf in Sector 117, Noida and the families of these students did not even know about it. For example, a student's family lodged a missing report of their child in Kanpur but later it was found that these people had converted him to Islam.
It is not that these people used to persuade such people to convert to religion only after the first meeting. For this, hatred was created among these people about their religion and they were told that their religion is not right. After brainwashing, they were lured and told that by adopting Islam, all their problems would end. Police have said that these people used to get funding from abroad for this work and a person named Umar Gautam used to run this racket along with other people. The Uttar Pradesh government has also taken cognizance of this and has spoken of strict action.
India never had a tradition of aggressive conversion. It is believed in Hinduism that there are many ways to reach God and every person can find the way of salvation according to his own. Emperor Ashoka also showed religious harmony in his Iron Pillar. And in the Middle Ages, Kabir and Guru Nanak Devji also gave the message of religious harmony to the people.
It is mentioned in the Janam Sakhi related to the life of Guru Nanak Devji that once Mardana asked him about his religion so that he too could adopt that religion, then Guru Nanak told him that if they are a Muslim then they should become a good Muslim and if they are a Hindu then they should try to become a good Hindu and not change your religion.
But some people believe that their religion is the only truth and all other religions are superstitions, this is the feeling that gives rise to the feeling of hatred in the society.
According to the 2011 census, Hindus constitute 79.8 percent and Muslims 14.2 percent in India.
Here let us tell you an important thing that the priest on whom these people had gone to the temple to attack, some time ago there was a dispute over two Muslim boys drinking water in the temple and they were accused of assault.
