Toyota's new SUV Corolla Cross 2020 launched in Thailand: Check price, features

Toyota Motors on Thursday launched the new Toyota Cross in Thailand during the global premiere on Thursday.

It is expected to hit other markets very soon.

The new Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) is equipped with hybrid and gasoline engine and is available in four variants: Hybrid Premium Safety, Hybrid Premium, Hybrid Smart, and 1.8 sport. They are priced at 989,000 THB (Rs 23 lakh), 1,019,000 THB (Rs 24 lakh), 1,089,000 THB (26 lakh) and 1,199,000 THB (Rs 28 lakh) respectively.

The new model was developed under the concept of 'compact yet comfortable' and is based on the Corolla sedan.

Termed as an impressive blend of tough and robust exterior and spacious exterior, the SUV claims to offer QDR - Quality, Reliability, Durability.

Toyota Cross has a 1.8-inch hybrid engine with a 4th generation hybrid system, having an average consumption of 23.3 kilometers per litre. The gasoline engine has a fuel consumption of 15.4 Kilometre per litre.

The model looks sleek and has a comfortable entry as well as exit with spacious interiors having adjustable luggage space. It has a powerful front and rear with a strong front fender.

It also has a TNGA platform (GA-C) which enable the car to have  quietness with a high-quality performance    

Corolla was launched in Japan in 1966 and has been a bestseller with cumulative sales of approximately 48 million cars in about 150 countries globally.
