Babar Azam is trending on social media after Pakistan beat Nepal in Asia Cup 2023 opener by a massive margin of 238 runs. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam’s 151 run inning helped the team to set a target of 342. Although Babar Azam’s innings got the fans excited for the India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 clash on September 2, the reason he is trending on social media is his new swanky sports car. Babar Azam’s family has gifted him a Audi e-tron GT electric sports car that costs around Rs 8 crore in Pakistan. The car was presented to ace Pakistani cricketer by his brother Faisal Azam as a token of gratitude. The video of Babar Azam accepting the car has been shared on YouTube in Faisal Azam’s blog.

After receiving the thoughtful gift, Babar took his new Audi e-tron GT for a test drive. "I really like it," Babar can be seen saying in the video. In the YouTube video, Babar’s brother has talked about the various other cars that he was planning to buy for the cricketer and how he ended up with the white coloured Audi e-tron GT. Babar Azam’s new Audi car comes with two electric motors that produce 637 bhp and 830 Nm. It gets a 84 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is claimed to offer a maximum range of 472 km. Apart from the new Audi e-tron GT, Babar Azam also owns an Audi A5, Hyundai Sonata and BAIC BJ40 Plus.
