It's been almost nine years since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 released and still, Professor Severus Snape's death gives an instant heartbreak to fans. The iconic role was played by late Alan Rickman and everyone would agree that no one would have played the role better than him. Interestingly, it was Harry Potter series author JK Rowling who recommended Rickman's name for the role and he knew all along the fate of his character, unlike other actors.

A while back, one of Harry Potter fans took to his Twitter page and wrote, "Tonight in Italy they air “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Part 2”. As always, I’m NOT ready to say goodbye to Severus Snape Thank you @jk_rowling for this unique character and for convincing Alan Rickman to portray him - we had the perfect Severus Snape."

Three women-centric films released this year and all had different and important plotlines. Yes, we are talking about Deepika Padukone's Chhapaak in which she plays an acid attack survivor, Kangana Ranaut starrer Panga which was about a mother fulfilling her dreams of becoming a Kabaddi champion again and Thappad, in which Taapsee Pannu files for separation from husband after being slapped by him for the first time. Although the three films were critically acclaimed, Thappad scored well in box office numbers too.

Talking about the same, Taapsee told Mumbai Mirror, "Deepika and Kangana whose women-centric films, Chhapaak and Panga, released this year are big names. We never thought that Thappad would match or surpass their collections, more so since films on acid attack survivors and a mother reviving her career don’t divide the audience. It is a huge validation for everyone involved."
