Latest Bollywood News: Neha Kakkar becomes second most-watched female artist on YouTube, Iulia on marrying Salman & more

Anurag Basu's upcoming directorial is Ludo which is an anthology with several leading Bollywood actors being a part of it. Yes, the ensemble cast includes Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Asha Negi and Rohit Saraf. The film was all set to hit the screens on April 24, 2020, however, due to the ongoing coronavirus lockdown, it has been postponed indefinitely. There were hints that among other films, Ludo is likely to get a digital release.

Indian artist Neha Kakkar went on to beat female singers like Selena Gomez, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj as a female artist on YouTube. In the year 2019, Neha Kakkar became the second-most-watched female artist on YouTube.

With 4.5 billion views, Neha Kakkar beat Selena Gomez who only had 2.5 billion views in the year. While Nicki Minaj was the eight most viewed female artist with 2.9 billion, Billie Eilish had an edge over her with 3.2 billion views. Ariana Grande was the fifth most-viewed female artist with 3.7 billion views.

Thirty former employees of actor and producer Sachiin Joshi's company Viiking Ventures have alleged non-payment of salaries amounting to Rs 31 lakh which they claim they haven’t received even months after quitting. Sachiin has dismissed the claims as "arm-twisting tactics".

Reports state that according to the former employees, Viiking Ventures, of which Sachiin is the chairman, and its digital media wing, Think Tank, withheld salaries from as early as March 2019. The employees also claimed that the management is not responding to their queries about the non-payment of their dues.

Fans of Salman Khan have been waiting for decades for him to get married, especially more since he has been linked to Romanian beauty Iulia Vantur. Fans have been hoping for long that Salman would settle down with her.

Now, during a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Iulia was asked about her getting married to Salman to which she laughed and said, "Oh God! This question goes on and on and on. I think it is more about how people feel about each other. Spending time together is more important than any other stuff. At one point, I was asked the same question on and on and on. Even my parents were asking me, 'When you are going to get married?' I said, ‘Mom, do you want me to be happy or just get married?’ Because to get married just like that… I can get married to someone tomorrow, you know. That was the last time she ever asked me about this. I think it is more important to be happy with someone, spend quality time, and have a connection... Spending your life with someone, more than papers and all those things."

Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi who played Laxman in Golmaal: Fun Unlimited was dropped from the series in the later installments as he demanded a bigger paycheck. However, in a recent interview, Sharman expressed his interest in returning to the series. He said, "I would love to (return to the Golmaal franchise). Hopefully, in the coming days, if I get back to the Golmaal series, I would be more than happy."
