On Friday (June 11), Virat Kohli's elder sister, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra hit headlines when she shared that Vamika is an angel. Bhawna had conducted an 'Ask Me Anything’ session on her Instagram, when a fan asked her, "Have you met Vamika, whom she looks like more Anushka or virat,”. Bhawna replied to this and said, "Yes we have and she’s an angel,” and added a lovestruck emoji. This reply of Bhawna went viral on the internet, considering Virushka fans are still waiting to get the first glimpse of Vamika.

Days after Virat Kohli's sister Bhawna Kohli Dhingra said the cricketer and Anushka Sharma's daughter Vamika looks like an angel and grabbed media attention, she issued a clarification requesting the media to respect the privacy of the couple. She requested people to not entertain news suggesting how she told Vamika looks. Bhawna's statement read as "Guys Virat and Anushka have already requested media to refrain from Vamika’s pics. Please do not encourage or entertain any news that suggests that I have revealed how she looks. I totally respect their decision and would not do so myself."
