Today we will discuss an actress who made a promising debut in film, but her career was short-lived. However, after quitting films, she went on to join one of the biggest companies in the world. Today Mayoori Kango might need an introduction, but there was a time when she was part of several big films.
1. Meet Mayoori Kango
Born in a middle-class family, Mayoori met the director Saeed Akhtar Mirza, when she came to Mumbai with her mother. Saeed was impressed with Mayoori's looks and offered her the role of female protagonist in Naseem (1995).

After Naseem, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt offered her Papa Kehte Hai. Though not a major commercial success, the film's song 'Ghar Se Nikalte Hi' and Mayoori's performance were appreciated by the critics and the audience.

After Papa Kehte Hai, Mayoori was seen in Betaabi, Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet, Badal, Jung, Shikari, Vamsi, and Jeetenge Hum. Mayoori Kango also did television shows like Nargis, Thoda Gham Thodi Khushi, Dollar Babu, and Kitty Party.

In 2003, Mayoori Kango got married to Aditya Dhillon and quit acting. After marriage, Mayoori moved to the United States with her husband.
5. Mayoori Kango's life after marriage
After moving to the US, Mayoori did her MBA in Marketing and Finance from Baruch College Zicklin School of Business and started working in America between 2004 and 2012. As per reports, she had got through the IIT entrance exam and was selected at IIT Kanpur. However, she did not take admission and went on to focus on a career in the film industry.
6. Mayoori Kango joined Google India
Mayoori came back to India in 2013 and joined a company called Performix as a Managing Director. She then went on to join Google India and Became Industry Head in 2019. She has been serving as the Head of Industry-Agency Partnership at Google India since 2019.
