RIP Rishi Kapoor: Grandson to first member of Bollywood Prithviraj Kapoor, here's the legacy veteran actor leaves behind

Rishi Kapoor was the grandson of Prithviraj Kapoor. The Mughal-e-Azam actor was the first member to enter Bollywood.

Rishi was born to 'Mera Naam Joker' actor Raj Kapoor, who went on to do some noteable works in his career and in fact, was the reason RK Studios existed. He has a legacy over his film production film 'Barsaat' featuring Nargis Dutt, which went down in Bollywood history as one of the most iconic films of all-time.

Rishi Kapoor is survived by brother Randhir Kapoor, who was the second-most popular brother in Bollywood from their generation. Randhir has two kids - Karisma and Kareena Kapoor. Once married to Babita, the couple are now grandparents to Samaira, Kiaan (Karisma's children) and Taimur Ali Khan (Kareena-Saif Ali Khan's son).

The eldest daughter of Raj Kapoor and eldest sister to Rishi Kapoor, Ritu Nanda died on January 14, 2020. She is survived by two kids Nikhil Nanda (married to Shweta Bachchan) and Natasha Nanda.

Rima Jain also happens to be Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor's sibling. She has two sons Armaan and Aadar Jain, both of who are aspiring actors.

The lesser-known Kapoor brother, Rajiv Kapoor, tried a career in Bollywood but did not pursue it too much.

Rishi Kapoor married Neetu Singh Kapoor in 1980. She had been his strongest backbone throughout the actor's treatment since two years.

Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor were blessed with a son named Ranbir Kapoor. The actor is quite a popular name in Bollywood with movies like 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', 'Wake Up Sid', 'Barfi', 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', 'Rockstar' and 'Sanju' among other films to his credit. He is not yet married but has a girlfriend Alia Bhatt and rumours of their wedding were rife.

Married to Bharat Sahni, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is Rishi and Neetu Kapoor's daughter. She is a jewellery designer by profession.

Samara Sahni was born to Riddhima and Bharat. She is extremely close to Ranbir Kapoor.
