Nargis Fakhri seems to be having a tough time dealing with her personal life. Her career is already in a mess, as she currently has no films in hand currently. And now, her love life, too, has taken a huge hit. Says a source, “Nargis is heartbroken again. The actress and her boyfriend Matt Alonzo have parted ways and the split turned really ugly.” She has removed all her pictures with Matt from her social networking handles and has opted for spirituality to deal with the situation. 

“Nargis has become extremely spiritual and spends hours doing yoga and praying to God.” Previously, too, the Rockstar actress had nursed a broken heart after she split with long-time lover Uday Chopra. We hope Nargis finds stability in her life soon.

It’s a known fact that Akshay Kumar loves playing cards and rarely loses a game. When the Khiladi, along with his Kesari co-star Parineeti Chopra, visited the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show, the stand-up comedian asked the actress if she had lost any game to Akshay. Pari shared that while shooting for the film, whenever they used to get free time, they would play Ludo or cards. “I have lost so much money to him that I can’t even tell anyone about it. He is so good at the game that it is almost impossible for him to lose.” To this, Akshay said, “She keeps saying that she has lost money to me but till date, she hasn’t paid a penny to me!”

Today is Alia Bhatt’s birthday and on this special occasion, the actress is launching the teaser of her mother Soni Razdan’s upcoming film, No Fathers In Kashmir. The Kalank heroine will release the teaser on her social media accounts. The doting daughter has been supportive of her mother’s film right from the beginning when it was battling with the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) for the U/A certificate. Alia had tweeted requesting the Board to issue the desired certificate so that it can reach out to the masses. Directed by Ashvin Kumar, the film has finally been granted a U/A certificate and is slated to hit the screens in a couple of months.

But little did one anticipate that the crew will get an additional member performing along with them. Aayush Sharma has been roped in to be a surprise for the fans in Dubai. Says a source close to the actor, “Aayush’s songs from LoveYatri, especially Chogada became a chartbuster and Salman felt it would be good to include him in the concert, as well. So, he had been busy prepping and rehearsing. Aayush flew to Dubai last night. He will open the show with his act.”

Alia Bhatt, who celebrates her birthday today, has taken giant strides in Bollywood. And on this day, she will foray into Telugu cinema. She has been signed on as the female lead in SS Rajamouli’s period action film, RRR, which stars NT Rama Rao Jr and Ram Charan. For a while, it was conjectured that Parineeti Chopra was in the running. Post this, Alia’s name also had cropped up.

Alia confirmed the news saying, “Working with Rajamouli sir is a big, big tick off my bucket list. Also, to be alongside Ram Charan and Jr NTR is an absolute honour. I am working in South for the first time. I play the role of Sita, and the film is set in the 1920s.” 

Ajay Devgn has been signed to play a pivotal role in it. The cast of the film also includes British actress Daisy Edgar-Jones of Cold Feet and Silent Witness fame. RRR will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. There’s a possibility of dubbing this ambitious venture in other languages, too.

ABOUT THE FILM

The film is based on the lives of two Indian freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem. According to chronicled stories, it is said that both of them were missing for a few years before they fought for the country and became legends.

6.Madhu Mantena and Masaba Gupta head for divorce

Seven months ago, fashion designer Masaba Gupta and producer Madhu Mantena had announced that they have decided to go through trial separation in their marriage. While the couple never spoke about the reasons behind their decision, close friends and family thought that this time off each other will help both of them to come to a conclusion. Now, Masaba and Madhu have finally announced that they are indeed heading for a divorce. They issued a public statement together which read, “After much thought and consideration, we (Madhu and Masaba) have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. we have decided to move forward separately and get divorced. We are two individuals who respect and care for each other and have made our own choices. We would appreciate if we are given our privacy in this time.”
