SCOOPS: Zaheer Iqbal breaks silence on dating Sonakshi Sinha, Priyanka Chopra in a Marvel movie?

That Shah Rukh Khan is a sports lover is known to all. The superstar was an ace football player in his college days and, obviously, has a great affinity for the sport. The actor was invited to watch an Arsenal vs Newcastle United match recently. The invite was specially sent to him by footballer Mesut Ozil. Says a source, “Mesut is a huge SRK fan and invited him for an important match that took place on Sunday night at the Emirates Stadium in London. The footballer invited the superstar to his hospitality box. He watched the match and chilled with Mesut and his girlfriend after that.” This just goes to show the global reach that the superstar has.

It won’t be wrong to address Priyanka Chopra Jonas as a true blue global star today. The Bollywood diva has appeared in several projects in the West and has carved a place for herself in Hollywood, too. After films like A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t It Romantic that released in the last one year, PC announced that she is producing and acting in a movie based on the life of Ma Anand Sheela. Post that, looks like our desi girl might soon be seen in a biggie. Joe Russo, director of Avengers, who came visiting Mumbai to promote the last part of the superhero series, revealed during an interaction that he’s in talks with PC for a film. It’s touted to be a mega-budget action film, and rumours are that it can be a new superheroine character. We can already imagine PC with the cape! 

Zaheer Iqbal is barely one film old in Bollywood, but the actor’s name has already been linked to a couple of B-Town ladies. Now that he’s made his debut with a love story, we asked him if he’s ever been in love. “Yes, of course. I’m a die-hard romantic and I believe in old-school romance,” he said. But when we took the names of the actresses he’s been linked with — Sana Saeed, Rhea Chakraborty and Sonakshi Sinha — and he stated, “I’m single now.” But was there ever anything on between him and any of the girls, we asked. “Even if I was seeing any of them, I would not mention it. I don’t think a guy should mention a girl’s name like that. That’s not cool,” he said. A gentleman, then.

Gaurav Chopraa, who was last seen in a cameo in Ishq Mein Marjawan is all set to be a part of Zee’s supernatural show Ek Shakti... Ek Aghori. The actor plays the lead role of Ishan (an aghori), who is told by his guru that he will become immortal by tricking his wife into sacrificing her life. Says Gaurav, “For the past two-and-a-half years, I was focussing on the digital platform as I wanted to experiment with different roles. Then came this offer, which was hard to refuse. Ek Shakti.. Ek Aghori’s concept is unheard of. The intrigue and eccentricity surrounding the show along with the different layers of the character drew me to it.” The actor will be sporting two contrasting looks in the serial. While one will have him sporting a typical bohemian look with dreadlocks and tattoos, the other will have him in a modern and sophisticated avatar.
