Ali Fazal to play the protagonist in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Milan Talkies’?

From names like Shahid Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana to Aditya Roy Kapur, several names have been doing the rounds for long as to who will play the male lead in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s much-awaited project Milan Talkies. Now we hear actor Ali Fazal has been roped in to play the protagonist in the film. 

As per a report in Indian Express, Ali has given his nod to the project and will start shooting for the film in March. A source close to him revealed to the daily, “He has given his dates and Tigmanshu is currently on the lookout for the leading lady. It is set in North India and Ali will start shooting in the second week of March after he returns from the Academy Awards ceremony to be held on March 4.”

Meanwhile, Ali is Bollywood’s latest export to Hollywood and has certainly managed to make a mark in a small span of time. Moreover, his last film Victoria and Abdul alongside Judi Dench has bagged two big nominations at the 90th Academy Awards. In fact, he will soon commence shooting for another Hollywood project post attending the Oscars in March.

On the home turf, Ali has wrapped up Prakash Raj’s Tadka and will also be seen in the sequel of Happy Bhaag Jayegi opposite Diana Penty, apart from starring in Milan Talkies.
