Amitabh Bachchan pens cryptic note about 'lost and forgotten' things after attending Ambani wedding: 'It is strange...'

The grand wedding of Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant, took place in Mumbai on Friday, July 12. From Rajinikanth to Suriya and from Shah Rukh Khan to Ranbir Kapoor, celebrities from the entire Indian film industry joined the celebrations.

Amitabh Bachchan posed with his wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter Shweta Bachchan, son-in-law Nikhil Nanda, and Shweta's children Agastya Nanda and Navya Naveli Nanda at the Ambani wedding. Abhishek's wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan arrived separately.

After attending the wedding, the Sholay star took to his official blog and penned a cryptic note on what is 'lost and forgetten'. He wrote, "Back from a glorious wedding and the feel after a very long time of public exposure, the wealth of love and affection that I can possibly think of with so many old acquaintances. They seemed to have changed in their physiognomy, but extremely sincere in their affection towards the association and the love of our times well spent together."

"This is what life is all about, the associations and love and care. It is strange how the little things that matter to each other, remain, but those that had a deeper association or a meaningful spent time, is lost and forgotten....well, not really forgotten, but kept on the back burner, and remembered or brought out only when there is required meaning of the association", he further added.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh's latest release Kalki 2898 AD is breaking records at the box office. The superstar plays the mythological character of Ashwatthama in the epic sci-fi dystopian action drama film, that has grossed over Rs 1000 crore worldwide (as per the producers). It also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan in the leading roles.
