Angad Bedi is all praises for Janhvi Kapoor

Angad Bedi, who has finished shooting the Georgia schedule for Kargil Girl, is all praises for Janhvi Kapoor and her work ethic. Angad will be seen playing the role of Janhvi’s elder brother in the film. The Pink actor says, “Janhvi has been such a revelation. She is hardworking, talented and magnetic besides being extremely kind and loving. We have been able to forge a bond off camera and I started looking at her as a younger sister. Her compassion towards everyone is admirable. Working with such affable people helps bring out better performance from you. When I was doing my own scenes, the energy on the set was such that it really felt like we are a big happy team, driving towards a great project.” Janhvi, who had made her debut with Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak, is playing the role of female IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena. 

The former cricketer-turned-actor further adds, “She has a distinct hunger in her to learn more and do better. I identify with it because I have the same hunger to perfect a scene till the shot is perfect. When you work with good actors, you feed off each others’ energies. When you’ve worked with directors like Shoojit Sircar or actors like Amitabh Bachchan, you learn the importance and art of self-analysing your work and knowing how you’ve fared. It’s important that sets are democratic set ups where everyone brings their best version to the table and help improve each others’ craft.”
