Esha Gupta says she faced casting couch twice, shares scary incidents: ‘When I refused, the co-producer…’

Esha Gupta never fails to impress the audience with her beauty and her performances in the films. The actress recently opened up on facing the casting couch in the industry twice and shared the horrific incidents. 

In a conversation with Spotboye, Esha Gupta recalled a filmmaker asking for sexual favours and she refused. Speaking about the incident, the actress said, “The film was half completed. When I refused, the co-producer told the maker that he did not want to see me in the film. What am I doing on set? After this, some makers even refused to cast me in films. I had heard that these people used to say about me that if I won't do anything then what is the point of taking me in the film?” 

The actress also talked about another incident when she was shooting outdoors and two people laid the ‘trap of casting couch’ and said, “There were two people who laid the trap of casting couch. I had understood but I still did the film because it was a small move from their side. He thought that I would fall into his trap during the outdoor shoot. I was also smart, I said that I would not go to sleep alone. I called my makeup artist to sleep in my room.” 

The actress expressed her anger on the same and said that such people cannot do these things with star kids because their parents will kill them. Irked by the act, the actress said, “They think that if we need work then we can get anything done.” 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Esha Gupta was recently seen in the movie One Day: Justice Delivered. The actress will be next seen in the movie Desi Magic which also stars Zayed Khan, Sahil Shroff, Randhir Kapoor, and Ravi Kishan. The actress also has Deepak Tijori’s Tipsy in the pipeline and will also be seen in Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty-starrer Hera Pheri 3.
