The makers of Kalki 2898 AD dropped a new trailer, six days before the mega release, and it has taken the anticipation about the upcoming sci-fi actioner to a whole new level. The new promo gave an extended look into the origin of Ashwathama aka Amitabh Bachchan, in the younger days. It also shows the huge clash between him and Bhairava. 

The new trailer also gives a new glimpse of the evil Kamal Haasan, a mystic figure, who aims to dominate the world. It also gives a look into the different worlds of the oppressed people in Kashi and the powerful entities in the Complex. Several shots in the promo promise to be one-of-the-kind sci-fi actioner, that can set standards of Indian VFX to another level. The promo ends with Prabhas fighting against all in the huge gigantic mode with Bujji.

Ahead of Kalki 2898 AD grand release, the star cast of Nag Ashwin's film attended a press meet in Mumbai. The grand event was graced by Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone. However, Deepika stole the limelight of the evening. 

For the event, Deepika wore a black gown, showing off her baby bump. The actress shared images on Instagram where she is seen wearing a stunning slit black gown, proudly displaying her adorable baby bump. Her appearance, eagerly anticipated, is sure to become the talk of the town, with fans and fashion enthusiasts praising her for confidently and gracefully owning the look. Deepika shared the photos on her Instagram, with the caption, "Okay enough…Now I’m hungry!"

The Nag Ashwin directorial, produced by C.Aswini Dutt, Swapna Dutt, and Priyanka Dutt under their banner Vyjayanthi Movies, releases in cinemas on June 27 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
