Anyone who has followed Kareena Kapoor Khan’s career graph would never forget her most iconic performances to date where she played Pooh in Karan Johar’s family drama Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. The character of Pooh is loved by Kareena’s fans even today therefore when Karan Johar teased about a show titled Pooh Diaries, audiences got excited to know more details and the project to get a green light.

Speaking about the same, Kareena opened up about the tentative series in a recent interview with a publication. When Kareena was asked whether she would reprise the role of Pooh for the series Karan spoke about, the Veere Di Wedding actress said that “Karan and I are still in talks”.

She further revealed that the show is currently being scripted and more information about it will be released once it is done. She further added that she currently has no idea when the show will go on floors and that is busy prepping for Laal Singh Chadha and Takht.

Kareena also spoke about what Poo, as a character, would be like at 40, to which she said that Poo will be calmer now but the essence of the character will remain the same, insisting that Pooh will always be synonymous with her and it cannot be done with anyone else.

On the work front, Kareena is currently gearing up for Good Newwz. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film also stars Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in lead roles. Good Newwz is slated to be released on December 27, 2019.
