'This is a disaster': Kareena Kapoor Khan brutally trolled for her Lakme Fashion Week look

Ace designer Gaurav Gupta Grand closed the phygital edition of LFW x FDCI 2021 in a spectacular and sustainable way, on Sunday. The glamorous Kareena Kapoor Khan walked for the designer in a strapless embellished gown. However, Kareena Kapoor Khan's look did not go down too well with social media users, who trolled her for the 'disastrous' avatar. A section of social media users body-shamed and age shamed her while some went on to comment on how terrible the makeup and hair was. 

In the comments section of a video shared by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani of Kareena Kapoor Khan closing Gaurav Gupta's show while striking different poses for the camerapersons, several social media users wrote that the actress looked extremely uncomfortable and was trying too hard.

In fact, recently, when designer Gaurav Gupta shared a solo photo of Kareena Kapoor Khan donning his showstopper garment on his verified Instagram handle, that too received a lot of negative comments with netizens pointing out how terribly the photo had been edited and retouched. 

"Her arm is sooo badly photoshopped", "Terrible photoshop!", "Kiske body pe bebo ki shakal chipka di?", "Lots of shop-shop, chop-chop happened here!", "armshop happening like there's no tomorrow", were some comments by social media users on Gaurav Gupta's Instagram post featuring Kareena. 

As for Gaurav's show and couture line, the runway was transformed into a surreal water body, perfectly complementing Gupta's out-of-the-box aesthetic. 

Known for his progressive fashion where every garment is a piece of art, with this collection, too, Gupta showcased a glamorous line of gowns, dresses and co-ord sets, impeccably detailed and supremely structured. However, the hero of this line-up was the fabrics that have been created from wrappers of crisps and biscuits, plastic bottles and other consumables excavated from oceans and landfills.
