Nora Fatehi is a Canadian dancer and actress who moved to India to become an actress. She made her acting debut with the Hindi film Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans, however, gained fame later with her item songs in Baahubali The Begining, Kick 2, Temper, and more. Her item songs in the movie is what made her a star in Bollywood.

When Nora came to India, she had to face several struggles to survive in the country. In an interview with Mashable India, the actress recalled her 'traumatic' days and said, "I came to India with only Rs 5,000 in my pocket. I didn’t even know what 1000 dollars was like."

She further revealed how she had to live with nine people in a 3 BHK house and said, "I lived with nine psychopaths in a three BHK apartment where I shared the room with two other girls. During my stay there, I used to think, ‘What have I got myself into?’ I am still traumatized."

She further recalled how she had to survive on just bread and egg and said, "The agency would deduct a lot of money and pay me meager salaries. I survived on one egg and bread. It was a rough time. I needed therapy. The struggle was really bad. They would charge you a commission and deduct money for even breathing. Some of the agencies exploit you and there are no laws to protect you."

The actress starred alongside Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan in the movie Bharat which collected over Rs 300 crore worldwide at the box office. She also starred opposite Varun Dhawan in Street Dancer 3D which proved to be a success. While Nora Fatehi reportedly charges Rs 1 crore for a film, she charges Rs 2 crore per song in a film.

The actress was last seen in the movie Madgaon Express alongside Avinash Tiwary, Divyenduu, and Pratik Gandhi. Though it received a positive response from the audience, it failed to perform well at the box office. She will next be seen in the movie Dancing Dad.
