Ranbir Kapoor dated Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif before he married Alia Bhatt in 2022.
Ranbir Kapoor will be seen chatting with the entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath in the upcoming episode of People by WTF podcast. The actor will be seen addressing his dating life before his marriage to his Brahmastra co-star Alia Bhatt and shared that he is still tagged as a cheater after dating two successful actresses.
"I dated two very successful actresses, and that just became my identity, that he’s a Casanova. I was labelled a cheater for a very large part of my life. I still am", the Rockstar actor said in the promo of the episode released on Saturday evening on July 20. He didn't take any names but this is no surprise that he was talking about Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, whom he dated before he fell in love with Alia on the sets of the 2022 fantasy action adventure film.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in the gangster drama Animal. Though the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial received mixed reviews upon its release in December last year, it went on to become a blockbuster. It earned Rs 554 crore net in India and grossed Rs 915 crore worldwide (as per the entertainment tracking portal Sacnilk).
The actor will be seen next in Ramayana, Nitesh Tiwari's adaptation of the mythological drama. Ranbir, Sai Pallavi, and Yash will be seen as Lord Rama, Sita, and Raavan respectively in the much-awaited film. Though it hasn't been officially announced, it has already become one of the biggest films in the history of Indian cinema.
It has been reported that Ramayana is being planned as a trilogy and the makers want to release the first part on Diwali 2025. The makers after investing a year and a half on the post-production of the film with a dedicated team of VFX arists working on the first part of the trilogy for around 500 days. Oscar-winning music directors AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer will compose music for Ramayana, as per reports.
