Ranveer Singh is currently neck deep in promotions of his upcoming Rohit Shetty film Simmba. The actor stars along with Sara Ali Khan in the film and the duo can be seen leaving no stones unturned in promoting the film. Before the trailer release of the film, Ranveer Singh shared some videos from Simmba sets. One such promo which he posted was a still from the song Aala Re Aala.

Previously it was being assumed that the still is from Aankh Maare recreation, but that song had another surprise ready. The makers released Aankh Maare and later the romantic song Tere Bin. Now they are all set to unveil the song ‘Aala Re Aala’ which in the words of Ranveer is the ‘Sabse Bada Gaana’ of his career.

In case one missed it, verses from the song like ‘Aala Re Aala Simmba Aala’, ‘Police’ and ‘Simmba’ appear in the trailer of the film.

SABSE BADA GAANA!!! @itsrohitshetty @ganeshacharyaa #Simmba

This totally hints that the song will be the title song of Simmba, which interestingly will see a lot of women on bike. The teaser which Ranveer recently shared also seems to have the good parts of ‘Tattad Tattad’ and ‘Khalibali’ steps.

He wrote, “#AalaReAala Out Tomorrow #RohitShetty @karanjohar #SaraAliKhan @SonuSood @rspicturez @RelianceEnt @DharmaMovies @SimmbaTheFilm @TSeries @DevNegiLive @tanishkbagchi #Goldi @Musicshabbir @azeem2112 #Simmba”

Here’s hoping that after two recreations, Aala Re Aala too will not be a reprised version of a previous song. Simmba in itself is the story of how the cop Sangram Bhalerao, played by Ranveer Singh, fights for the safety of women, in an attempt to reduce the ratio of rape in the country.

Directed by Rohit Shetty and co-produced by Karan Johar, Simmba will also mark Kedarnath actress Sara Ali Khan’s second film in Bollywood. The movie is slated to release on December 28.
