In the podcast with Rhea Chakraborty, Sushmita Sen revealed that she has been single for thee years and is not interesting in dating anyone at the moment.
Sushmita Sen broke up with her longtime beau Rohman Shawl in 2021 after almost five years of relationship. After their break up, the two are often spotted together at multiple public places in videos and photos shared by paparazzi. These viral clips and pics have often led to rumours that Sushmita and Rohman are back together. However, the former Miss Universe has dismissed these rumours and clarified that she has been single for three years.
The Main Hoon Na actress recently appeared on the first episode of Rhea Chakraborty's podcast titled Chapter 2. In the episode, Sushmita shared her relationship status and added that she isn't interested in dating anyone at the moment. She said, "As we sit here today, I have no man in my life. I have been single for a while now. Three years, to be precise. I am not even interested in anyone at the moment. It’s lovely to take a break because I was in a relationship prior to that for almost five years and that was a long, long time."
Sen also talked about heartbreaks as she added, "At my age, it’s not about heartbreaks anymore. I invest in a relationship: love, care, energy. And because everyone is involved, I am hugely protected. If anything becomes toxic in that environment, I walk away faster than you can take my name and I don’t miss it. My world is built around trust."
After her break up with Rohman Shawl, the business tycoon and IPL founder Lalit Modi made a surprising revelation on his social media in July 2022 that he is dating Sushmita as he shared adorable photos with the Miss Universe-turned-actress, who never confirmed their relationship.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress was last seen in Aarya: Antim Vaar, the second part of the third season of the crime drama series. It premiered on Disney+ Hotstar in February 2024. The show, based on the Dutch series Penoza, is co-created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi.
