Nora Fatehi has been mentioned by Karan Aujla in the latest viral hit Tauba Tauba. The song, along with Vicky Kaushal's effortless moves in it, have become a sensation on social media.
Starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Karan Aujla, Tauba Tauba track has become a viral sensation. The peppy dance track is written, composed, and sung by Karan, and is the first song to be release from Bad Newz. The upcoming romantic comedy also stars Ammy Virk in the leading role and is set to release in the theaters on July 19.
In the lyrics of Tauba Tauba, Karan has mentioned Nora Fatehi's name. Thus, Nora added her own spice to the track as she shared her video on Instagram, in which she was seen recreating Vicky's viral moves. She tagged the choreographer Bosco Martis and said, "U killed it", and wished the best to the film's team including producer Karan Johar. Nora also added a text to the video that reads, "POV: When you hear your name in a Karan Aujla song, you know I got to add my spice to it."
Nora also shared her excitement about her name being mentioned in the track in her recent interview to BBC Asian Network. She said, "I heard Karan Aujla’s new song and I’m like 'That is my name! But, is he referring to me or another Nora?' So, me, him, and Badshah have a group and I asked, 'Karan, are you referring to me?' He is like, 'Yeah, of course, it’s you.' And I was freaking out and he thought it was so funny. I was sending him all these GIFs of dancers just to show how excited and happy I was. I said 'Karan, I am officially a part of history and pop culture now, thanks to you."
Vicky also shared Nora's reel on his Instagram Stories and wrote, "Yeh reel nahi dekha toh bada pachtaoge", referring to the hit song Pachtaoge, featuring him and Nora, released in 2019. The track was sung by Arijit Singh, composed by B Praak, and written by Jaani.
