Mukesh Ambani has been the richest person in the country for quite a long time now and after having a successful year, the billionaire has re-entered the 100 billion dollar net worth club in the beginning of 2024. As per Forbes Real-Time Billionaires List, Mukesh Ambani currently has a net worth of Rs 873815 crore. The chairperson of Reliance Industries was able to reach this milestone as shares of his company ended at a new all time high. For those who are unaware, Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries is the most valuable company in India with a market cap of Rs 18390000000000. When it comes to the global list of richest people, the Indian industrialist stands at 11th spot. It is worth noting that the Forbes’ list has only 12 billionaires in the 100 billion dollar club.

Mukesh Ambani last breached into the 100 billion dollar net worth club in 2021 but was dropped out of the list. Elon Musk still stands at the top of the list with a net worth of 240.9 billion dollars. He is followed by Bernard Arnault, Jeff Bezos, Larry Ellison, and Mark Zuckerberg. When it comes to richest Indians, Mukesh Ambani is accompanied by Gautam Adani, the second richest Indian industrialist on the list. Adani is currently at the 16th spot on the list of the world's richest billionaires with a net worth of 79.4 billion dollars.

Mukesh Ambani is involved in a range of businesses through various subsidies that are handled by his kids Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani. The industrialist is reportedly gearing up for the IPO of two of his biggest subsidiaries Jio Platforms and Reliance Retail. He is also betting big on green energy and has announced major investment plans for the coming years.
