Mayank Agarwal starts on a positive note hitting couple of sixes in the same over. He dances down the pitch to take on Nathan Lyon - sends one over long off and the second over long-on.

IND vs AUS 3rd Test, Day 4: Pat Cummins completes his 5 wicket haul as he removes Mayank Agarwal. The debutant scores 42 in his second innings. Agarwal was done in by the low bounce. India 82 for 6 now, leading by 375 runs.

IND vs AUS 3rd Test, Day 4: Cummins gets Jadeja with a bouncer. It was aimed at the body and Jadeja was uncomfortable. He tried to fend it off on the leg side but the ball lobs off the glove and flies towards Usman Khawaja at gully. Cummins gets his sixth wicket.

IND vs AUS 3rd Test, Day 4: Rishabh Pant departs just after hitting a six. He was looking to score quick runs here. Rishabh Pant had just hit Hazlewood straight back over his head for the maximum. The bowler comes back with a short one bang on middle and leg. Pant goes for innovation this time and looks to ramp it over the keeper's head. He can get it only as far as Paine for simple take. 

Virat Kohli calls the batsmen off and India have declared on 106-8.

IND vs AUS 3rd Test, Day 4: Australia need 399 runs in their second innings to win the Melbourne Test match.

India added 52 runs in the hour of play on Saturday morning. Mayank Agarwal scored a good-looking 42 to follow up his 76 in the first one. Now the onus is back on Indian bowlers to get Australia out again.

India vs Australia 3rd Test Day 4: Ravindra Jadeja strikes to remove Marcus Harris. Australia 33 for 2. Mayank Agarwal hangs on to another sharp catch at forward short leg. Jadeja gets one to pitch on the rough and the ball turns to take the inside half of Marcus Harris’ bat straight to Agarwal.

India vs Australia 3rd Test Day 4: Rain has delayed the start of the post-lunch session a little. After play resumed, Mayank Agarwal was struck on his neck by a Khawaja sweep at short leg. He has left the field and KL Rahul has taken his place.

India vs Australia 3rd Test Day 4: OUT! Mohammed Shami breaks the partnership. 

Usman Khawaja goes for the review but there was nothing wrong with the on-field umpire's call. It was hitting the top of the stumps. Much-needed breakthrough for India.

India vs Australia 3rd Test Day 4: Shaun Marsh and Travis Head take Australia past 100. Australia will be plaeased with the way Marsh is batting in this innings. He has been driven elegantly and adding runs at a decent pace. However, India are still long way ahead.

India vs Australia 3rd Test Day 4: Jasprit Bumrah has taken another wicket. Shaun Marsh is hot on the pads and the umpire raises his finger. DRS taken but the decision remains with the on-field call. Big wicket for India- Marsh was looking good. Australia 114/4 now.

India vs Australia 3rd Test Day 4: Ravindra Jadeja leaves Australia five down. Virat Kohli takes a good overhead catch at short cover. Jadeja pushes it through outside off and Marsh (10) tries aims to slam him over cover.

Travis Head plays it on to the stumps as Ishant Sharma gets rewarded for a good spell. It was full and wide outside off and Head went fetching it without moving his feet. Australia 157 for 6. 

Pat Cummins thwarted India's hopes of closing out the win with a day to spare, anchoring some stubborn tail-end resistance after the top order crumbled. The seamer was 61 not out, with Nathan Lyon on six, and Australia still 141 runs short of their victory target.
