Two in 1996, the other in 2011 - three of India's greats Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, and Virat Kohli made their Test debut on this very day (20 June).

While Dravid and Ganguly made his Test debut during the series against England at Lord's in 1996, Kohli received his maiden Test cap during the first match of the series against West Indies at Sabina Park in Kingston in June 2011.

The Wall was roped in the Playing XI as a replacement for Sunil Joshi and he announced his arrival in Test cricket with a knock of 95 runs, including six boundaries.

The BCCI President had become the 10th Indian batsman to register a century on Test debut.

As for the current Indian skipper, the 31-year-old had failed to make a mark and was dismissed cheaply for four and 15 runs in the two innings.

However, the three went on to become the biggest contributors to Indian Test cricket and also captain the Men in Blue in some point in time.

This is how netizens are recalling the memories of these cricketers.
