After his retirement, he also served as the chief selector for the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Former Pakistan cricketer Abdul Qadir Khan passed away on Friday at the age of 63 in Lahore, Pakistan after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Qadir was regarded as the finest leg-spinners of his time and picked up 236 Test wickets in 67 matches and 132 wickets in 104 ODIs during his time with the Pakistani cricket team.
After his retirement, he also served as the chief selector for the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Many took to Twitter to pay their tributes and condolences after the news of his death broke out.
