Watch: Virat Kohli takes one-handed stunner to dismiss Peter Handscomb in Perth Test

India vs Australia, 2nd Test Day 1: Australia lost four key wickets to an improved India attack after an impressive start on the opening day in the second test on Friday. 

The Perth Stadium pitch, which looked flat in the opening session, came roaring to life after lunch. Jasprit Bumrah provide the breakthrough as Aaron Finch fell after lunch for 50 after sharing a 112-run opening partnership with Marcus Harris. 

Umesh Yadav then sent back Usman Khawaja, Australia's most accomplished batsman, as he tried to break the shackles after being tied down by the Indian bowlers.

Hanuma Vihari then took the prize wicket of Harris (70) who fell to a rising delivery steering the ball to first slip.

After tea, captain Virat Kohli pulled off a stunning catch to send back Peter Handscomb. The Indian captain took a one-handed blinder to get rid of Handscomb for seven runs. Ishant Sharma had bowled this back of a length outside off and Handscomb tried to go for a cut but gets a thick edge. It flew high to Kohli's right and he reached up with the right hand to pluck it.

The test is the first at the new 60,000-seat stadium located in Burswood after a 47-year run at the WACA and Australia will be keen to end a run of six tests without a victory against an India side seeking a first series win Down Under.
