Fayaz Ansari, a talented makeup artist hailing from Bijnor, tragically met his untimely demise in a swimming pool accident in the West Indies on June 21. Ansari, who had been the personal makeup artist of former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan for a considerable period, was accompanying Pathan for the ongoing T20 World Cup, where Pathan is currently serving as a commentator.

Originally from Nagina in Bijnor, Ansari had relocated to Mumbai 22 years ago to establish his own successful salon. Pathan, a loyal client of Ansari's salon, eventually appointed him as his personal makeup artist and brought him along on various international assignments.

Mohammad Ahmed, Ansari's cousin, confirmed that Ansari tragically drowned in a hotel swimming pool in the West Indies on the evening of Friday, June 21. This sudden and tragic event has deeply impacted Ansari's family, including his wife and relatives.

Ahmed further mentioned that Irfan Pathan is personally overseeing all necessary arrangements in the West Indies to repatriate Ansari's body back to India. The family is preparing to receive Ansari's body in Delhi, a process that is anticipated to take approximately three to four days.
