During the 12th over, Imran Tahir's googly beat the defence of Navdeep Saini and CSK went for an appeal for lbw. As the finger remained down, Dhoni waited till the last possible second to take the review. DRS showed that it was not an LBW as there was some bat involved- an inside edge. However, Shane Watson has taken the catch in the slips as well, so RCB ended up losing another wicket while Dhoni's DRS mastery continued.

Dhoni later took another DRS when Ravindra Jadeja was bowling. However, he himself knew it was not out as his smile to the bowlers before taking the decision said it all. The fans also noticed it.

Chennai Super Kings bowled out Royal Challengers Bangalore for a paltry 70 in the opening encounter of the Indian Premier League on Saturday. Parthiv Patel was the top-scorer with 29 while Harbhajan Singh (3/20) and Imran Tahir (3/9) bowled brilliantly. Ravindra Jadeja also got two wickets.
