Team India skipper Virat Kohli has expressed his thoughts on how he expects cricket to resume soon after this coronavirus pandemic is brought under control.
However, the true essence of the game will be lost if matches take place behind closed doors with no spectators according to Virat.
"It’s quite a possible situation, it might happen, I honestly don’t know how everyone is going to take that because we all are used to playing in front of so many passionate fans," Kohli said in a video.
"I know it will be played at a very good intensity but that feeling of the crowd connecting with the players and the tension of the game where everyone goes through it in the stadium, those emotions are very difficult to recreate," he added.
The coronavirus outbreak has brought all sports activities to a halt, players are practising social distancing and self-isolation during the pandemic.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) and the governments all around are urging people to stay at home.
The Indian skipper also said he expects cricket to resume soon but with some changes made to the game due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
"Things will still go on, but I doubt that one will feel that magic happening inside because of the atmosphere that was created. We will play sports how it is supposed to be played, but those magical moments will be difficult to come by," he said.

Kohli is a key part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side for the 13th season of IPL, which BCCI decided to suspend until further notice, as a precautionary measure against the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in India.
Last week, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) released an official order to extend the ongoing lockdown by two more weeks from May 4. This allowed the migrant workers, tourists, students and other persons stranded all across the nation to get back home by special trains.
The opening match of this year's IPL was supposed to be played between the most successful teams of IPL - defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) - at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 29.
