India emerged victorious over Pakistan in a thrilling final of the World Championship of Legends 2024, held in Birmingham on Saturday. The Indian team chased down a target of 157 runs set by Pakistan, reaching 159/5 in just 19.1 overs. Ambati Rayudu played a crucial role in the victory, scoring a quick-fire half-century off just 30 balls. On the other hand, Sohail Tanvir was the standout bowler for Pakistan, taking three wickets.

In their innings, Pakistan posted a competitive total of 156/6 in 20 overs, with Shoaib Malik top-scoring with 41 runs. This set up a tense chase for India, who managed to successfully chase down the target with just five wickets to spare. Anureet Singh was the star performer with the ball for India, taking three wickets, while Vinay Kumar, Pawan Negi, and Irfan Pathan chipped in with a wicket each.
