India dominated Bangladesh in a commanding victory by 10 wickets at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla on Friday, securing their spot in the ninth Women’s Asia Cup final.

Pacer Renuka Thakur set the tone early with a remarkable burst of three wickets during the Powerplay, limiting Bangladesh to 80/8 in the first semifinal match. Renuka delivered an impressive four-over spell, ending with figures of 4-1-10-3, while Radha Yadav also contributed with three crucial wickets. In the chase, Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma effortlessly reached the target in under 11 overs, with Mandhana leading the charge with a well-executed half-century.

Despite skipper Sultana's valiant efforts for Bangladesh, consistent wickets hindered her team's progress after winning the toss and choosing to bat first against Harmanpreet Kaur's formidable side.
