Meet IPS officer Akash Kulhari, who was once expelled from school for getting low marks

According to the report of India News, Akash Kulhari said that he was very weak in his studies during his childhood. So many times, his parents had to face problems because of his poor performance. In an interview, she said, “I was expelled from school after the 10th result came, but I did not give up.” (Photo Source- ANI)

Akash Kulhari's early studies started at a school in Bikaner. In the year 1996, he passed 10th with only 57 per cent marks. After which, his school expelled him and didn’t give admission to him because of his less score. (Photo Source- Aligarh Police Twitter)

After getting low marks in 10th, Akash Kulhari's father got him admitted to Kendriya Vidyalaya Bikaner after a lot of hard work. After this Akash also worked hard and secured 85 per cent marks in 12th. After this, he did B.Com from Duggal College Bikaner in 2001 and M.Com from School of Social Science from JNU, Delhi. 

While studying at JNU, Akash Kulhari also started preparing for UPSC and passed the civil services examination in his first attempt, in 2006. During this, in 2005, he also did M Phil from JNU. (Photo Source- Aligarh Police Twitter)

Akash Kulhari had told in the interview, “After graduation, I had two career options in front of me. The first was that I should do an MBA and do a job in the corporate sector and the second option was to prepare for civil services. My mother wanted my children to serve the country by becoming officers, so respecting the mother's wish, I decided to take the civil services examination.
