Join Indian Navy 2021: Apply online for 45 SSC posts from today - Know details

As per an online notification date June 26, 2021, the online application process for 45 SSC posts in the Indian Navy under Special Naval Orientation Course starts from today. The course will commence at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala in January 2022.

The last date to apply online for the post is July 16, 2021. Candidates who wish to apply and are eligible for the posts will have to file the online application through the Join Indian Navy official site - joinindiannavy.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria

• Male
• Unmarried
• Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech degree with minimum 60 percent marks in Computer Science/ Computer Engg. / IT, M.Sc (Computer/IT), MCA or M.Tech (Computer Science/ IT).
• Age limit: Candidates born from January 2, 1997 to July 1, 2002

Selection Process for the post

Candidates will be shortlisted based on normalized marks obtained by them in the qualifying degree. The formula for normalizing marks of candidates is mentioned on the Join Indian Navy website.

Other Details

The tentative dates of SSB interviews is from Aug 21 onwards.

The selected candidates will get Short Service Commission for a period of 10 years initially. This will be extendable by maximum of four years in two terms of two years each. The extension is subject to service requirement, performance, willingness of candidate and medical eligibility.
